I was a Red Wings type of guy for 9 years straight until it seemed their quality has lowered and price has risen. I bought these Chippewa Apache Golden Beige boots and they were comfortable right out of the box. Note: Also, this was the first time I ever bought logger boots , well worth it. These boots are worth every last penny spent. Even the laces seem like their covered in some sort of wax coating for optimum protection. A++ for Chippewa
